An entrepreneur and company builder, Baca is now a financial advisor with Level Four Advisory Services, LLC. She does extensive work in the areas of retirement, estate planning and wealth transfer. Baca has been a fee-based financial planner since 1993 and assists with plan design for both qualified and nonqualified retirement plans for companies in Texas, Oklahoma, California and North Carolina. Her work frequently calls on her background in employee benefits design as she helps to optimize corporate retirement planning for client business owners and corporate executives.
The founding principal of Pacor International Inc., a provider of benefits and payroll services to small business, that had a need for large company tax incentives, payroll services and benefits; Baca focused her time on 401(k) Plan consulting, design and implementation (July, 1988 through sale of business in 1991).
She was a founding principal of DBG&H Unlimited, Inc., a marketing, public relations and advertising firm which grew from 5 people in 1974 to 250 people and 8 offices (Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Phoenix).
A community volunteer, Baca was in the initiating group and on the founding board of the Dallas Women’s foundation. She currently serves on the Board of the Dallas Chapter of Women Accounting and Finance Alliance and on the Advisory Board of the Dallas Foundation. Previously she has been on the SMU Catholic Ministry Board and on the Advisory Board of the Kilby Foundation. She was a ten-year member of the board of the Community Council of Greater Dallas. She chaired Athaneum2000 for the Leadership Texas Alumnae Association.
She has had an ecumenical education: her MSFS is from the Institute of Business and
Finance, her MBA is from Southern Methodist University, her BA is from the University of Dallas, a Catholic liberal arts university and she spent one semester at Mary Hardin University, a Baptist university.
A Cajun by birth, a Czech by marriage and a professional by conviction, Sharon is wife to Michael, a retired director of contracts for a Fortune 500 company; mother of Rachel and Maryam Alyce and grandmother of Emma Grace and Sawyer.
